One of my biggest dislikes about most lubricants is the smell and flavor of them, even the ones that are supposedly ‘flavored’ still leave a horrible taste in your mouth. Toko Aroma is one of the first lubricants I’ve used that actually lives up to it’s ‘flavored’ description.
The flavor I received was strawberries & champagne, which has a very strong strawberry flavor, although the champagne was not so noticeable. Once spread out on skin the scent isn’t that strong but the flavor is very pungent and long lasting, leaving a sweet after taste in your mouth.
Usually with flavored lubricants you’re left disappointed in one respect, either the flavor and scent are really weak, or to get a strong flavor something else is sacrificed such as slickness, consistency or how long it lasts. The Toko Aroma doesn’t sacrifice anything in getting a strong flavor and scent which lasts for ages.
It’s very easy to wash off with just a little water and soap and doesn’t leave a nasty residue.
The design of the bottle is very classy and looks more like a premium shampoo bottle than your average lubricant. It has a flip-top cap rather than my preferred pump top, but this is a worthwhile sacrifice for such a great product.
The Toko Aroma has become one of my favorite lubricants. It lasts longer than most water-based lubes and actually has a strong scent and aroma as advertised. I’ve yet to try all of the other flavors, but they’re already on my wishlist for the near future.
