Each of the cuffs is 42″ long and about 2″ wide which should be long enough for most uses. The end of each cuff is fitted with 2 chrome D-rings which are used for fastening them shut by threading the silk cuff through and tying it off. At the other end of the cuffs is a small pouch area which is filled with pearl beads to add some weight, keeping them in position.
You may think, especially with them being made of silk, that they’re flimsy and easy to squirm or thrust out of, but they’re anything but. They manage to withstand quite a but of tugging and thrashing around. The soft silk makes these cuffs comfortable to wear, in fact it’s a pleasure to be bound with them.
Because of their length the Lelo Boa restraints have many uses, from binding the wrists or ankles together, apart, or for hogtying your partner. The chrome D-rings are also ideal for using them with other bondage toys to attach snap-hooks or carabiners for lots of different bondage scenarios.
Being made of silk means that care must be taken when cleaning these. Ideally they should be taken to the drycleaners, but this could be embarrassing if the drycleaner realizes what they are. Personally I bought one of those ‘home dry cleaning kits’ which works wonderfully and keeps them in perfect condition.
After using these a few times I couldn’t recommend these enough to couples experienced in bondage or just getting started. They’re easy to use, stylish, versatile and very strong.
