The cuffs are adjustable between 5 and 9 inches, which is more than enough length to fit around most people’s wrists, however if you’re slightly larger they probably aren’t long enough to be used as ankle cuffs. Unfortunately nothing is included in the kit to attach the cuffs to, or clips to attach them to anything, so you’ll have to get yourself some bondage rope or tethers to use them as restraints.
The collar is pretty much the same as the cuffs, with a D-ring to attach the included leash which is 30 inches long with a snap hook. The leash has fastenings at only one end, so is designed more to be held than used as a fixed restraint.
The blindfold is pretty basic, but is surprisingly good in comparison to some of the other blindfolds we’ve reviewed, it blocks out light and completely deprives vision if worn correctly.
Cleaning the kit is the same as with all other leather bondage gear, specific leather cleaning solutions are suggested, although I always just wipe it down with warm soapy water and leave it to dry thoroughly before packing it away.
Overall, the Kinklab Submissive Bondage Kit seems very well made, and with the proper care should last for years to come. Although because of it’s basic nature you will probably grow bored of it well before that time comes and will likely upgrade to something a bit more ‘full on’.
