I would say that makes this particular hog tie unsuitable for beginners.
The snap hooks are fixed to the straps very well and have a diameter of about 1/2″ so they should be compatible with most D or O rings although it’s always best to check first. The snap hooks are nickel-plated which, after regular heavy use, does start to gradually chip away on the inside. This doesn’t affect the functionality but it does affect the sexy-sleek appearance.
Cleaning this was a breeze. The smooth outer side of the leather can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The inside just takes a little soap, but be sure to clean off any remaining soap from the leather and leave it to dry thoroughly.
Overall I was very impressed with the quality of the Kinklab Hog Tie. It looks and feels great. It’s very strong, withstanding a lot of squirming around and pulling. Used with the Kinklab wrist and ankle cuffs this thing is absolutely brilliant. I just can’t believe how long I’d been missing out by never trying a ‘real’ hog tie before this!
